Kindergarten / Reception
At
KIndergarten and Reception level, the curriculum
is organised into six areas of learning:
- Personal, social
and emotional development
- Language
and Literacy
- Mathematical
development
- Knowledge and
understanding of the world
- Physical development
- Creative development
Through
careful planning the teachers are able to provide the
children with opportunities to develop these competencies
and skills through structured play activities, so that
by the end of the two years the children will have had
high quality early years experiences, and will have developed
secure foundations for their future learning.
